SATYRICON: 'Volcano' U.S. Release Date Pushed Back A Week
March 10, 2004Norwegian black metallers SATYRICON will issue their latest CD, "Volcano", in the U.S. on April 13 — one week later than the originally announced April 6 release date. The album will surface through the Sony Music imprint EatUrMusic, the label run by SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist Daron Malakian.
"Volcano" was SATYRICON's first release for the Scandinavian branch of Capitol Records, which originally issued the CD in September 2002. Watch the band's controversial video for "Fuel for Hatred" done with director Jonas Åkerlund, famous for his work with METALLICA, OZZY OSBOURNE and MADONNA, among others: Windows Media, Real Media (High, Low).
SATYRICON will kick off a U.S. tour with MORBID ANGEL and SUFFOCATION on April 13 in Orlando, Florida.
